5. Saving on food and automobile expenses: You are to lower your grocery bills by purchasing when sales are on. You could also try and carry lunch instead of eating out. This will save you a lot. You should also save on your car expenses. You can do this by using mass transit and by joining a carpool. All the money that you save can be used for debt settlement.
